What We’re Thankful For This Year
We’re thankful for our friends and family who make up Tyler’s Tribe!
Tyler, Colleen, Albert, Michael, and Meghan would all like to express their gratitude to everyone for the countless prayers, messages of hope, and overwhelming generosity. The outpour of love and support has been a tremendous source of strength for us all. It’s truly remarkable, and we feel so blessed by your kindness!
Over the past few months, we have had some incredible events put on by friends and family, and we are so grateful for all the effort and support. They raised so much money for Tyler and continue to help us spread awareness. Please keep sharing and posting to help us #WipeOutALS!
We wanted to take a second to recognize the amazing individual donations we have received!
Z Customization donated all of our merchandise, allowing 100% of the proceeds go directly to Tyler's health and wellbeing
Brand-It Promotions donated the beach bags, and we are so thankful!
Kathy Clancy and Kristy Arnold raised over $5,000 on social media during their Birthday Challenge
Meghan's old trainer, Andrea from Athletic Evolution, put on a surf-themed workout to bring awareness to ALS
Alyson Westfall and Tina Devlin, sisters of Alpha Phi, put on the Tiara’s for Tyler Bingo Night and donated all proceeds
Cindy Dethlefsen asked everyone to forgo her birthday gifts and instead donate to Tyler’s foundation. She’s amazing!
Marissa Piche and Milo Young at Full Psycle put on a community cycle class for Tyler where they raised money and sold a ton of Tyler’s Tribe merch
And last but certainly not least, Tammy Nipper, Jean Elliott, Kelly Schwab, Cecilia Quinn hosted the Succulent Pumpkin Sale! Through word of mouth, they were able to sell succulent pumpkins raising a huge chunk of change for Tyler
It’s hard to put into words our thankfulness for each and everyone of you. Your support has been a solid foundation of strength for us during this time, and we’re truly grateful to be surrounded by such an uplifting community.
Tyler has been working with Adapt Functional Movement, on a generous scholarship from Ionis Pharmaceuticals, and they have been a huge help for him! Adapt provides a personalized and integrative approach for overcoming the challenges of ALS. Their goal is to minimize the impact a disability has on a person's life by tailoring individualized protocols that are geared towards their four core elements: functional movement therapy; mental health, mindfulness & emotional wellbeing; massage, bodywork & electrical muscle stimulation; and social isolation prevention & community development. The team has been a great asset to Tyler!
Thank you again for your continued love and support. We hope you have a happy thanksgiving!
