June Update
With the crushing news of the FDA declining the drug NurOwn, the Deckers are still hopeful! Even though NurOwn shows tons of promise for the treatment of ALS, this was devastatingly not enough for the FDA to approve it. Tyler is in good spirits and is hopeful for the future.
In other news, the Decker family spent a month recouping on the beautiful island of Oahu. We are so thankful for our Cove Family who made this trip happen. Tyler graduated From the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and the North Shore is his favorite place, so this trip of rest was such a gift. Taking a month off was good for the soul and full of relaxation for Tyler.
In March, our Alpha Phi sisters put on a Tyler’s Tribe event that was full of fun and games. We are beyond thankful for our sisters who are bringing so much awareness to ALS research.
on June 24th we had the first annual Tyler’s Tribe golf tournament. There will be a separate blog post to come about the fun filled day!
